eTrackPad
Privacy Policy
Last updated: Jul 10, 2026
Summary
eTrackPad does not collect personal data. Your touch and keyboard input is sent directly between your own devices and is never routed through, stored on, or shared with any server.
What we collect
eTrackPad does not collect personal data. It has no user accounts and does not include analytics or advertising components. We do not collect names, email addresses, device identifiers, or usage data.
How your input is handled
When you use your iPhone or iPad as a trackpad, touch, gesture, and keyboard events are transmitted directly to your paired Mac over your local network (Wi-Fi), a USB cable, or Bluetooth. This data is used only to move the cursor and is not written to disk or sent to the internet.
Network access
eTrackPad uses the local network, USB, and Bluetooth solely to discover and connect your devices to each other. No data leaves your local connection, and the app does not contact any AppRIP server.
Encryption
Communication between your devices is encrypted, so the data exchanged during a session cannot be read by others on the same network.
Purchases
eTrackPad Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Apple through StoreKit. We never see or store your payment details. Apple’s handling of purchases is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Your rights
Because eTrackPad collects no personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, export, or delete. This approach is consistent with the GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and KVKK (Türkiye).
Children’s privacy
eTrackPad is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will always be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
